Anne Hessaltine Graham-Tinker (DNA BROYLES/WILHOIT Part 3)

This post is part 3 of a series of chronicling the ancestors of Anne Hessaltine GRAHAM-TINKER the Paternal 2nd Great Grandmother of my husband. This series looks at DNA matches combined with traditional genealogical research. You may find the first two parts of this series located HERE.

Today I will be continuing with part three of the series of looking at Anne Graham-Tinker`s ancestors using our DNA research coupled with traditional genealogical research.

Anne`s Paternal Grandmother was one Sarah Eleanor BROYLES born about 1744 in Tennessee. Sarah was the daughter of one Adam BROYLES & Mary WILHOIT.

Her Great Grandfather Adam BROYLES was the son of one Hans Jacob BROYLES and the grandson Johannes BROYLES who married one Ursula RUOP.

You can read more about the BROYLE`s family that descends from Johannes & Ursula HERE.

DNA Matches to the BROYLES Family

The first match we have is estimated to be a 4th to Remote Cousin. I believe both the cousin matches I have listed on this page also have additional matches to my husband that are not relative to his BROYLES ancestry. This match turned out to be a 6th Cousin, once removed.

As you can see his line leads back to Hans Jacob BROYLES which is Anne Hessaltine GRAHAM-TINKER`s 2nd Great Grandfather and my husbands 6th Great Grandfather.

This second match, again I believe has additional connections to my husband that are not relevant to his BROYLE`s or WILHOIT ancestry.  She turned out to be a 6th Cousin, once removed.

Anne Hessaltine GRAHAM-TINKER`s Great Grandmother was one Mary WILHOIT who married the above Adam BROYLES. Mary was a daughter of Tobias WILHOIT and Catherine WALKE, they were Anne`s 2nd Great Grandparent`s and my husbands 6th Great Grandparents.

Stay tuned for additional posts in this series of the ancestors of Anne Hessaltine GRAHAM-TINKER through DNA.
