Hartline Family History Leads

Today I wanted to share some recent clues concerning the identity of my second great grandfather John Henry HARTLINE. Someone contacted me a couple weeks ago and shared some information with me that makes a great deal of sense. As a result of that information I am launching a new research project into the HARTLINE family line from which I descend.  I went into this research believing that my second great grandmother was one Eliza GAMBILL, however I had no DNA leads to substantiate that. I have discovered that the Henry HARTLINE who married her was my great grand uncle, so I have been looking in the wrong area. Grandfather John Henry HARTLINE may have been married a total of three times. The wife I descend from is likely his first, her name was Mary GILBERT, it looks as though her parents were William and Rebecca GILBERT. I am just beginning my research into the GILBERT line, I do have several DNA matches who list the surname GILBERT. So far the children I show for John Henry and Mary Ann HARTLINE were Hiram R, he married one Hannah GILES, Nancy J, Sarah, Francis, she married one Miles CUBERLY,  Emily and Henry M. Hartline who married Eliza GAMBILL.My great grandfather was John Newman HARTLINE he married Alice Mae JOHNSON, and his sister married Silas Marion CRAIN.
