In the Ministry

My father was licensed and ordained minister. He held an ordination license with the United Pentecostal Church based in Hazlewood, Missouri. Dad pastored several churches and was assistant pastor to a few during his lifetime as well.

This is a photograph of him reading his Bible, the top of the photograph tells that it was taken in April of 1956.

This is another photograph of my father behind the pulpit. I believe this was taken at the old church in Jackson, Missouri where dad was Assistant Pastor. This would have been either the late 1950`s or early 1960`s. I have quite a few more photographs of dad and the family taken in church or at church functions. I will do my best to get them uploaded in the days to come.
This photograph is my mother, she was getting ready for work at Lee Rowan Factory in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This photograph was also taken in Jackson, Missouri. My parents lived in two different houses in Jackson. One was located at 736 Greensferry Road. My parents and my sibilings told stories of things that happened to the family while living in that house that would make ones hair stand on end. Apparently it was haunted. I would some day love to research the history behind that particular piece of property. That is where my parents lived when I was born. When I was three years old we relocated to Bernie, Missouri.
