My Life: New Addition to the Blog

Today I wanted to take the time to introduce a new addition to my blog. While for the most part this blog was started to share my family history and I wanted that to remain the central focus of the blog. However, with the new year I wanted my blog to take on somewhat more of a personal, homey feel to it versus just the run of the mill, names, dates and places. As you can see if you have been following along I have implemented a lot of changes this past couple of weeks here. Today I wanted to tell you about a new page that I created called: My Life.

On that page I will be sharing some glimpses from my day to day life, you might find things such as hobbies I participate in, my opinion on certain subjects, perhaps a new product I've tried or something I recommend. And there will be an occasional picture of my precious grandchildren that all grandmothers just need to brag about from time to time. Speaking of grandchildren, that is my youngest granddaughter Madlynn and myself in the photo above.

I hope you will follow along. I will try and keep these type posts to a minimum so that they do not overtake the blog as I want it to keep its original purpose of sharing family history with everyone. I will make this type post on Mondays and it can be considered: My Life Monday Thank you for following my blog and I hope that you will enjoy the new things I have created!
