Elijah MANNESS & Mary EADS

Last night I was excited to learn that I have a few new DNA matches and one of them listed the EADS surname. This was something I had been patiently waiting for. I contacted the person and she shared some names with me. Two of which are her great grandparents Elijah MANNESS and Mary EADS. Little is known of this couple from the information that she gave me so I have set out to see if I can track them down and see how they tie into my line. Apparently this line of the EADS family was in Henderson, Tennessee and it looks like that is where Mary was born around 1823.

I have done some preliminary research into this line and it appears as though there are numerous connections between the EADS and the MANESS families. I do not have the names of Elijah MANNESS or Mary EADS parents, I do have a list of their childrens names which I pulled from Ancestry and they bear further research on my part before I am willing to share them here. If anyone has any connections to this family, I would appreciate hearing from you. In the meantime I will be seeing what I can find on them and will post an update here as soon as I find anything remotely credible! Happy Hunting!
