Our family is growing! Meet the newest leaf on our tree. We are expecting our fourth Grandchild, 1st Grandson come early October. Her due date is October 5th to be exact. She is currently 24 weeks pregnant. His name will be: Skylar Damien. It has taken some time for me to wrap around getting a grandson. After having had granddaughters, it has been some time since we have had a little boy underfoot. Our son is so proud of his little man. Today is her Ob doc appointment. Little Skye has been measuring somewhat bigger than he should be for his gestational age. So her doc wants to run a test for Gestational Diabetes. Most women get that test as standard procedure during the second trimester however, it is usually done around 28 weeks I believe. But her doc has ordered it during this visit because he suspects that might account for Skylar being a bit bigger than he should be. I certainly hope she does not have it. I was borderline with my son (Skylar`s Daddy) so, I know what that is like. Overall little Skye seems to be healthy. We are planning a Baby Shower for them sometime in August. I will likely share some photos here from their shower and of course once the little man arrives. This sonogram photo was taken a few weeks ago. I have some older family members that do not understand how to read a sonogram photo so I have taken to coloring in the baby so they can distinguish his features as I have done in this picture. Ill update more about our precious grandson at a later date.
