Solving a Non Paternal Event Using DNA & A Paper Trail

As you know if you have followed my blog for any length of time, my husband has a Non Paternal Event in his Y-DNA line. I thought that I was coming close to solving or figuring out just exactly where it may have occurred, only to realize that I have become even more frustrated than I was from the get go!
What a huge puzzle this has been for the both of us. Sometimes I feel as though I am going in circles. We have decided that in order to solve this thing we are going to need some help. So we have launched our own DNA project and have created a page for it here on this blog.
I am hoping that someone out there will come forward and agree to be tested for comparison.  What is equally frustrating as of lately is that my husband has a very, very close match on 23andME who is anonymous and has not responded to our messages at all. It is so frustrating as they could be the one person who holds the key to solving this whole mess in the first place!
Please visit the Project Page located on the tab across the top of this page that reads: Tinker Fancher DNA Project. Help us spread the word so we can get others from these lines to test.
All updates concerning this project will be posted directly to that page on the blog so you may wish to bookmark it.
To begin with we especially are asking men who descend from the following two individuals to please consider testing.
We need a Direct Male Descendant from Phillip Parks Sr TINKER & Anne Hessaltine GRAHAM. We are asking that you submit at least a 35 Marker Y-DNA study at Family Tree DNA and agree to share your results with us.
We also are soliciting those who descend from this line, male or female to agree to autosomal DNA testing at Family Tree DNA and or 23andMe. If you are interested in participating please contact me using the contact form on this blog.
