Today`s Tombstone Tuesday post is about my Maternal Aunt. Her name was Rosetta Urinah Jane ESTERLINE. Aunt Rosie as we lovingly called her was born 3 February, 1909 somewhere in Southeast Missouri. She was a daughter of Grover Cleveland "Cleve" ESTERLINE and Cora Mae WILKEY.
Aunt Rosies first husband was Jake Franklin WHITHEAD. There were three sons born to their union:
Delbert WHITEHEAD
Winifred WHITEHEAD
Lee Elgrage WHITEHEAD
Rosetta and Jake were divorced on 28 Dec, 1935 in Mississippi County, Arkansas. She later married two more times. Her second husband was Frank HUNINGTON, they were married 16 July 1946. Her third husband was Fred RAPP.
Rosetta passed away 15 February, 1997 in Van Buren,Carter, Missouri. She was laid to rest in the Bernie Memorial Cemetery in Bernie, Stoddard, Missouri.
