Anyhow, going on to the reason for this post. The Message board user refers to Albert Allen McDaniel being the son of one George and Merkie McDaniel. This post will try and track down just who this George and Merkie McDaniel really are.
These records here will be in no certain order as I am listing them as I come to them,so note that this post is as much for my benefit as it is the readers. Hopefully you can make some sense out of my posts.
I have located a Death Record for one Albert Spencer McDaniel son of George W. McDaniel and Susannah McDaniel nee Williams. Albert McDaniel was born 15 March 1867 in Davie County, North Carolina and married an Ida J. Summers. Albert died 11 August 1939 in Salisbury, Rowan, North Carolina. Burial was at Smith Grove Cemetery in Mocksville, North Carolina. The death listing goes on to state that Albert`s father was born in Davie County, North Carolina.

I have located a Death record for one Adellia Herston died 17 June 1925 in Fulton, Davie, North Carolina. She was listed as being Widowed. She was laid to rest at Fork Church Cemetery, in Davie, North Carolina.

Adellia`s birth date is not given so I am unable to match her to any of the children listed on the census as of yet.
George Washington McDaniel passed away 25 October 1920 in Davie County, North Carolina.
