This week in Genealogy

In todays post I am going to update you on what I have accomplished this week in my family research. First, as you can see the blog has a new look. I wasn't satisfied with the previous look as it did not allow for printing and such. A clean, white crisp background will make it easier to share my research notes with others.
Aside from that I have been working on making new Family Tree`s on Ancestry for my husband and myself. My aim is to only publish sourced information. I have amassed so much information and notes through the years that it would take me forever to share everything that I have. I wanted to share just the information that has been proven. Also within my family trees I am adding folks that are proven cousins through DNA matches. Its going to be a great tool for me to be able to see where others may match us in the future. I have also elected not to keep those trees private for the time being. My motive is to share what I do know as well as what I do not know, in hopes that I can connect with someone who does.Genealogy is not only a hobby of mine, it is a passion.
I have connected with two cousins this week one through Genealogy and one through DNA. I also have a possible lead on this William Foster Tinker that I have discussed in my previous posts. At this point in time its not something I wish to share until I am most certain but it could prove very much interesting. Meanwhile, if you think you might connect to my husband or myself please let us know. Stay tuned for more fun tidbits in the days to come!
